!I HAD A SUPERRR FUN DAY TODAY!:Dwent to 3 places to gaigai today - clarke quay, fort canning place and cathay <3
clarke quay is full of japanese stuffs, there are like many shops selling japanese snacks, biscuits and food. i went to yoshinoya for spicy beef bowl meal with qad. it's been so long since i ate at yoshinoya! i really 怀念 their miso-soup and all. hahaha, got a shock today when they dispensed the miso-soup from a machine. but it was all for nothing. their miso is still friggin nice though it looks a lil yellow XD
qad was like: O___O why is the soup yellow? *and stares hard at it lol*
then he said it was NICEEE.
okay, then we decided to walk out of the shopping centre to the sidewalk. it was really really really really awesome. there were boats/ships/whatever you call them' sailing along the river. many tourists were strolling there too. then at the side of the river were steep sides for people to sit and look across the other side, which looks even better hahaha. then we walked and walked and walked and stopped when we saw a bridge. it was rather wide and spacious with 2 individuals playing street music. one of them was playing this '3-string' instrument. the other was playing this long hollow flute-like instrument. but the latter's sounded scary until he started to play along with his castanets :D oh, the first guy even wrote on a black cardboard his URL or sth. i can't really rmb what was it, but quite cool haha.
and so, we walked past haagen daaz, some shop sellin indian cuisine and a shop with hot female waitresses. they dressed like those 'raisins' girls in southpark! HAHAHA! both of us were laughing when we saw them. P.S their shorts are REALLY short lol.
then we came to this crowded turkish icecream shop which sells urm... turkish icecream? HAHAHA, but we didn't buy anything cos it was too crowded. but more of crowded with those oohs' and aahs' tourists who were amazed at how he prepared the icecream. he was tempering the icecream if i'm not wrong (:
we passed by 2 pubs ltr, one with a pool table and another that looks more homely and inviting. that was the end of clarke quay.
then we went to fort canning park by another way. it was really steep and tiring to walk. the view of citylights at night, esp from the top of the park is really nice. i wished i could take photos of it. but i didn't have a camera with me at that time): HP camera are sooo not my choice.
so at last we came to this spot where there was a swing and some short platform. but there were people in the swing, so didn't get to go play with it ): then we realised that we lost out way LOL. but thanks to me, the pro. i found a shortcut to the entrance due to my curiosity! amongst that place was this discreet and narrow bomb-shelter lookalike thingy. so i decided to go down to explore. and guess what, we're back at the entrance. and opposite of that is plaza sing. we walked towards cathay and had ben&jerry's for our supper before heading homesweethome. he didn't sweat a thing at all during the fort canning walk T__T what a freak, i was sweating like crazy.
okay, that's all for today. i'm off to watch the newest uploaded haipaitianxin <3 it's ONNNN! bye guys and lotsa love for everyone :D
TATA!
